Playback returns to beginning

I have been working on project for a week and all the sudden the playback option always returns back to beginning of project not where I leave off.  I cannot find a setting or button anywhere that addresses this.  I have searched forum and not found anyone to address this in current 2017 version of photostory.  Someone said they found a 'button' but I don't see that...the setting options seem extremely limited for this.  I'd be grateful if someone could help.  Am at the end of 30 minute slideshow project and now am crippled b/c I can't test playback now without it returning all the way back.  (I read somewhere to use up, down arrows but that doesn't work either...the up one just takes back to beginning)

Hi

There is no option for 'Playback marker stops at current position'.

Use the up and down arrow keys for playback start and stop - there are two modes when doing this:

  1. Use Up arrow only to toggle start and stop - playback marker will start at the same point each time from wherever it is placed on the timeline.

  2. Use Up arrow to start and Down arrow to stop - playback marker will start at the current marker position and stop at the new position.

Please do not duplicate post on the same topic - the duplicate post has been removed.

Thank you but I think I was experiencing some internal glitch.  Forgetting markers, if I clicked on a certain place on timeline, it would automatically go all the way back to beginning to start.  I shut down, restarted whole system and it's back to normal being able to start slideshow from anywhere I click

Also, sorry I didn't realize I has posted twice

Hi

Thanks for letting us know the issue has been sorted.

I would guess you double posted, the times were the same, because you double clicked the Comment link to send it - I have done this a couple of times.
