PhotoStory Easy 2 won't close!

I just lost 3 hours worth of work on Photostory Easy 2.  The program is frozen. I created a slideshow and suddenly the screen froze.   I went to task manager and stopped it.  I lost everything that I did for the past 3 hours.  Now I have opened it again and I cannot close it!  I can minimize it but that's all.  I can't open or close files. Commands do not work except help.  The screen just sits there.  Help!

Hi

Try restarting the computer using Windows Start button, Power off, Restart option.

Please read this topic and then come back with more information:

Computer specification including:

  1. Processor make/model

  2. Graphics card or chipset used

  3. RAM qunatity installed

  4. Hard drive(s) size and free space

  5. Windows version and is it up to date?

  6. If Windows 10 was this an upgrade from 7 or 8?

Photostory Easy version number as found under Help, About.

Is Photostory Easy 2 patched up to date?

. . . . lost 3 hours worth of work . . . .

This is not good practice particularly as Photostory 2 (AFAICS) does not have auto backup - you should save at least every 15 - 20 mins.
