Photostory deluxe 2020 template

Ijong wrote on 12/21/2019, 11:57 PM

Hello,

Humbly asking if there is a way that we can manually edit the preloaded templates on photostory? Like open the timeline, copy titles and put it somewhere else on the template. You see, most of the templates only last below 1 min. I want to add more text or more pictures using that template or there. However i cant see any options i can update it manually.

Thanks,

Ijong

@Ijong

Hi and welcome to the forum.

To manually edit a slideshow created with a Movie Template, close and save the project, then reload the project - it should now be displayed in either Timeline mode allowing for further manual editing.

If it opens in Storyboard mode switch to Timeline before editing.

Hi John EB,

Is this something new in PhotoStory 2020? There are no buttons to open a template in Timeline mode, even after reloading the project.

I can't do it in 2019; can, of course, in MEP.

Hi John

. . . . Is this something new in PhotoStory 2020 . . . .

It was a feature that AFAIK was never there - a user had the same issue back in 2016 and there was no way to disconnect from the template as in MEP.

I modestly suggest you save before closing, although an unsaved project will usually be provided with a save (as) prompt upon closing.
