5% of the time when exporting a slideshow as a MPEG-4 it works fine and a 30-minute-long slideshow will export/render in 15-20 minutes. 95% of the time, however, after the export/render has begun I get a message saying "Hardware acceleration has been deactivated. Possible causes: incompatible graphics card drivers or graphics hardware that does not comply with the application's requirements. Make sure that the most current drivers are installed for the graphics card."

I have followed all instructions on Magix website and read all forum comments. I have used the update feature under HELP and am told that my software is up to date and there are no new updates. My software version is 21.0.2.120 (UDP3)

I have the latest Invidia drivers for my GeoForce GTX 1650 card on my Dell XPS 15 7590 Dell laptop. I have 32GB of Ram on my laptop. It has Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz   2.59 GHz. I am running Windows 10 and have installed all current updates.

I have gone to settings in PhotoStory and systematically chosen each of the 4 options under PROGRAM SETTINGS/DEVICE OPTIONS/VIDEO MODE. My options are:
     CPU
     Intel (R) UHD Graphics 630
     Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650
     Microsoft WARP Device

I have conducted a test exporting the same 1-minute-long slide show as a MPEG-4 (4K/UHD Quality) after selecting different VIDEO MODE options. When using Nvidia it exports/renders in 20 seconds. Using the other three VIDEO MODE options, the same file exports/renders in 12-13 minutes.

When I try to export/render a full 30 minute slideshow 5% of the time it will export in 15-20 minutes but most of the time it will take 4-7 HOURS. I tried exporting a 60 minute slideshow and it took 14 hours.

I uninstalled PhotoStory 2022 Deluxe and then reinstalled it but it didn't help. The problem is still the same.

I love the feature sets contained in PhotoStory but ultimately it is all intended for making slideshows and when I finally try to export a slideshow it takes WAY TOO MUCH TIME!!!
