Try updating the burn routines available from here

If this does not work or you have other issues with Photostory as well:-

  1. Was Windows 10 an upgrade from 7 or 8?

    If Yes :-
     
  2. Was Photostory installed before the upgrade?
     
  3. Did the error message start after the upgrade to Windows 10?
     

If Yes to 1, 2 and 3 then you can try reinstalling using this procedure and then update the burn routines to the latest version using the link above.

If none of the above work then it may time to upgrade to a fully Windows 10 compatible version of Photostory.
