I though PMD would be just what I wanted to manage my photos and videos categorise then even those in cloud storage but out of a folder of 234 items, it only listed the 155 JPG, It did not list any of my .mp4 files or NRW files. Are these likely to be included soon? if not, I'll not be buying!

Indexing of files by Photo Manager Deluxe can take a considerable amount of time; how long did you allow it to carry out this process?
However, the app has not been updated for several years and it seems possible that it never will be, despite a number of requests from users in the forum to Magix to do so!

Not all MP4 files are equal - MP4 is not a video format, it is a container file format and only internal video and audio codecs that are supported eg h.264/AVC video and AAC audio encoding and h.265/HEVC video with AAC audio, will appear in the lists. HEVC may require the Microsoft HEVC video extensions installed.
For a list of supported formats see under Help, Supported formats in the program. Though not listed some Raw files are supported, I do not know if the NRW format is one of them - I am a Canon user for still images.
