paid to upgrade but nothing happens after upgrade loads. now confused

Ordered upgrade to Photostory. It took a very long time to load the 900mb+ data. Restarted the computer, loaded photo story and no upgrade showing. Showed version 18.1..3.65 (UDP3) before and after restart. Also was supposed to get update to Travel Maps and didn't. Using windows 10 on HP laptop with Intel i7 processor,

I'm not sure what you mean when you say it took a very long time to load the 900mb+ data. The actual upgrade process is, essentially, in two parts; part 1 is the Installation Manager downloading the updated files, and part 2 is where the actual installation takes place.

I am not clear from your post whether you actually allowed part 2 to happen? From what you write, I suspect you did not.
