One of my webmail accounts would not allow login

Hi, I have five webmail accounts. Four worked and allowed login as usual. The fifth just would not allow it. I had changed the password several times and it just kept telling me the username or password was not valid.

The user of the account found the original password they'd forgotten. We tried it and it worked. Bear in mind, this was a good while after opting to change the password whilst logged in to my control center on the Magix website.

The original password then failed. It seems the changes take a while to come into effect. There doesn't seem to be any obvious information on waiting times for password changes. It is frustrating when you're waiting to use the account and have no idea why you can't log in or how long it will be before you can. I hope this post helps someone else.

Hi

Password changes take almost immediate effect.

It is most likely that this is a browser caching issue which has now updated itself thus presenting the password fail possibly because the user has the old password saved in the web browser.

The user should clear the browser cache and any saved password for the website, then try logging in with the newest password.
