@michael-kelleher

Welcome to the Magix forums.

Have you allowed PM "enough time" to read and index all your photos? Are they all in the same folder/directory?

On my computer I have ALL my images stored within a directory called, very originally, "Images". Within that directory I have numerous folders named according to the actual contents, e.g. "Holiday 2019". By pointing PM to the "Images" directory all the separate folders are "read and indexed" by PM, but it can take quite some time if you have a large number of photos.

HI

In addition to @emmrecs comment - are all the pictures in a supported format that PM can read?

That's an incomplete list you linked to. It doesn't show GIF or NEF, which appear to be supported. I just installed the trial version and it looks like DNG and PSD file formats don't show as thumbnails. Both of those would be very important to me as a photo manager application.

Hi

You are correct in that the 'official list' does appear to be short of a few image formats, PM does support some RAW formats eg NEF, CR2/3

DNG never really caught on with camera manufacturers and has been diminishing in popularity since about 2010, AFAIK there is only Leica and Hassleblad still using it in modern cameras. .
