No sound when playing converted video from HD

Trond-Aage-Kvamme wrote on 9/18/2019, 12:28 PM

When working on Project, and pre-viewing it in the program, both video and sound is correct. After converting it and transfer to a SD-HD, there is no sound when playing on a TV via USB-HD. Used the MPEG2 format as suggested in MAGIX. Tried to download the MPEG4 codec via the program, but didn't work. Errorcode -10.

I've the latest Version of the program, comp. With WIN 10.

Best regards

@Trond-Aage-Kvamme

Hi and welcome to the forum

Check what video formats, video codec and audio codec the TV supports.

If you cannot find this information, and assuming you are exporting as FullHD (1920*1080), try exporting as MP4 using the appropriate MP4 format ie PAL or NTSC for your region and do not change any of the advanced settings.

If that fails or you are not exporting as FullHD then we need more information on the export preset and settings you are using, also see this topic and provide details about your computer system and program version nmber

Hello, I've been having the same problem since purchase 2 week ago. My video transfer is perfect but there is no sould on playback. There is no sound when recording actually. Although if i put earphones in the laptop I can faintly hear the sound on full volume. My videos are transferring in MP 4. I've been through most of the troubleshooting on other forums, websites and youtube but all to no avail. Thanks in advance. Bill

@WILLIAM-BELL

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Unfortunately your posts are really asking a different question to that posed by the OP (his problem was one of no sound on exported videos, yours seems to be no sound on imported videos.)

So, given the above and the fact that this is an old thread, please start a new thread with your question, to include rather fuller details of your computer (this post will show you what we really need to know) along with the exact version of RYVT you have and details of how your video player is connected to your laptop.

This current thread will now be closed.
