No sound when importing JVC Enverio file into Magix

When I am importing JVC Enviero file into Magix Movie Edit Pro 11 Plus, the sound is missing.

Picture is fine.

Can anyone help?

Hello,

The camera would be using Dolby Digital/AC3 sound for the audio part. Version 11 doesn't have a built-in Dolby Digital decoder yet. It's trying to use an external codec, which you need to install first. Download and install this one here:

This will do the trick.

P.S.: You might have to delete the *.AVD files initially created for the video files you were trying to import as they can contain faulty data now. Deleting them causes the program to recreate them when importing the video files again.
