no sound coming through cables from hifi

no sound is coming through to my software from hifi. the setup is correct.

Can you tell me how you are connected? How the cables are routed, and what they are plugged into for the computer and device you are recording from?

Hi there,
writing setup is correct is a bit difficult for us to help. I know it's a pain, but try listing the way you have everything connected, including which sockets etc, so others can check/advise further.
