Navbar problem

Les-Pitts wrote on 4/4/2022, 3:55 AM

I have designed a site using a template. The software has translated the url of one page to a name using an e acute accent. When I try to export the site prior to ftp, the name cannot be handled by the browser. I would like to change the url name (not the page name) in the navbar but cannot find a way to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

@Les-Pitts

Hi

Does the page name contain e acute ?

If so change the page name so it does not have the e acute.

In the web page right click the navigation bar and select Edit navigation bar

In the Button and menu column double click the pages name and edit it to include the e acute and apply - see example below

Hi - no, the name for the page is Attractions which is what I want to use. I am using the Wildside template and in this, one of the navbar topics is I think, nouveautés or similar and this appears as the url for that page. I have tried to edit this but only seem able to edit the button of the page not the url. It seems that the exporting process cannot cope with an é. Am I right in thinking that if I delete that button, then insert a new one using the page number as the url, this might fix the problem .

Hi

. . . . Am I right in thinking that if I delete that button, then insert a new one using the page number as the url, this might fix the problem  . . . .

That too will work, however the method I gave you above should work irrespective of the template used as shown below.
