Hi, I had that problem before, and the only way I could retrieve the monitor was to click on the  "help" Icon at the top of the screen, next to the "tasks" and "services" icons.  Then I selected "Reset programme settings to default" Edit pro then save my project before reseting itself to its original setting! There must be an easier was of retrieving the monitor but I have not found it yet. I hope that this email is of some help

HI, I had problem too!!! My video monitor was disappeared but like you,asking in MAGICS QUESTIONS I found the answer ..SEE THE ANSWER belongs to Red27 his RIGHT!!!!! click on the 'help' icon at the top of the screen ,then  selected "RESET PROGRAMME SETTING TO DEFAULT" this process take 15 seconds I hope this  help you.. chuychele.
