My MPEG-4 option will not activiate, why? :(

I have Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus, which means that MPEG-4 comes with the program you just have to register it (I just learned that recently) so I went to the website and got my activation code for free, they emailed it to me, I enter it into the key spot in Magix where I'm supposed to, the program accepts the code and starts to activate it but then 20 seconds in, a little window pops up and says this:
"Activation unsuccuessful. If you are using the program as a guest, please repeat the activation procedure with administrator rights."
I'm not logged in as a guest... there's not even a place in Magix to log in at all but I obviously have a log in username so I'm at a loss of what to do... please help?

I had this experience as well.  Apparently the system will not activate the codec unless your firewall is off.  I turned off the firewall, allowed the proccess, and then turned my firewall back on.  Worked.

If when you load the program (Mep 14) Right click on the icon and choose "Run as" Then change to adminitrator  . This may work. You should only have to do this once to activate the codec.
