So i was trying to fix the latency (delay) problem of direct sound because i would layer record and that 2nd recording would be ever so slightly off. so on here, it said switch to the ASIO audio driver. so i did. then it started being weird and tripling my recording and stuff at a really really high frequency. like for example if i was to say 'hello my name is patrick' and clap once, then all of those would be tripled (hello hello hello etc) and played back to where i sounded like the chipmunks. so really high altho there was no change in the rate of the bpm (120 constant).

im young, im confused, and im tired. someone please help me
