musicmaker 15 no synth section question

I bougth a magix soundpool dvd collection 16 with musicmaker 15 on it. I installed it and wanted to play with my midi keyboard instrument. The help section refers to the aprt at the bottom side of the screen wich holds the tabs soundpool and next to it is file manager. Next to the file manager shoulb be the synthesizer tab. In my screen this tab does not appear and so i can not connect my midi keyboard.

Is there something i can do about this?

It sounds to me like you are in "Easy Mode".

The default mode for the program is Easy Mode. To turn Easy Mode off, click on the switch just under the MAGIX logo at the top left corner of the screen. The File Manager, Synthesizer, and Template tabs as well as several other functions should appear.
