Music maker would be the free version which can be downloaded and installed from the Magix site anytime. You can add your own music from the file manager tab. However what do you mean by "your own music" and what are you going to be doing with it?

thanks for the response Graham-Hawker....I like to use my own music collection as background for my shows...I send them to friends for their personal use...I do not load them to the net because of the copyright issues

Your question about importing music refers to Photstory so I have moved your post to that forum area.

The answer to how to import music is really quite simple! Make sure you are in the Timeline view in PS and that the music files you wish to import are (preferably) 48kHz and 16 bit .wavs and simply drag them onto the second or third track on the Timeline screen.

Here is a very simplified screenshot, showing a music track in an otherwise empty PS project.
