Music Maker 17 Fails to Install

Purchased box copy of Music Maker 17.  Program fails to finish install, says it cannot find the MusicMaker.exe file.

Have made multiple attempts to obtains support via email.  No return response as of yet.

Don't know how to proceed.  I have tried the install on another machine with very similar result.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

My first suggestion is assuming that the disc is fine.

Boot your computer into "Safe Mode", this will ensure that there is nothing but the bare necessity of Windows running, then install the Music Maker program from "Safe Mode" Once the installation is complete, leave the disc in the drive, then re-boot the computer again, but back into the normal operational mode, once the system has restarted "Right" mouse click the Music Maker icon, then choose "Run as Administrator". This should start the program to where you enter the serial number.

Second idea...

Download the trial of the software and click to purchase, this should prompt you to purchase or have a serial code. You can enter the serial code from your disc version to activate the trial to full version, but this would require you to do additional downloads to get the other content that was not included in the trial.

Third idea...

Get a new disc, either from the place where you purchased or directly from the manufacture. If you bought it from a place like Best Buy, see if their Geek Squad will test the installation of your disc, this will help determine if there is an actual error on disc or if there is some other anomaly going on...
