Hello,

When I export the songs I create with mp3 or wav  to my computer and then burn on to CD...it plays in my computer but not in other players, like car cd player or portable cd player. I know the songs are there cause if i put the cd back in my laptop, it will play but just not in other players. Why is??? How can I overcome this problem. I am working with MAGIX Samplitude Music Studio 14   .

Thanks

I guess this problem has nothing to do with Samplitude Music Studio but with the other players or your CD.

If i.e. you use rewritable CDs (CD+R)... not every Player understands this format...

As smartsurf said your Samplitude got no problem it is about choosing burning option before you click burn. Depends on your software.

Normally when you burn or copy CD or DVD it will be played on computer but not on audio players. If you want CD or DVD to be played on audio player you have to choose that option.

Please check your software if it can burn audio cd to be played on audio devices or not. If you got any burning software check options. The best and easy way is to use Windows burning, first of all make a folder put all of your tracks inside that it will be best if it is in My Music. Then choose your tracks/folder use burning button (before this insert blank CD/DVD in to the CD-Rom. As you will click burning button it  will give you options choose for audio devices and burn.

There are many freeware you can use for burning audio CDs or DVDs such as Nero etc.

MP3 and WAV files are not compatible with standard audio CD players which are not computers.  You must export in a file format that is used exclusively for audio CD players. I think it is AIFF format but you'll need to double check.

I am sorry to interrupt, it is not file format which is matter, it is the option chosen in burning process depending upon the software or windows.

I burn Mp3 and wave I also use particular software or some times just windows to burn and by using option (to be played on all audio devices I burn the CD/DVD and it work without any problem.
