hi all

i got movie edit pro 15+ because i have been doing more hd videos. when i import the file its laggy in the video player.

i will get half way through then the program will shut down.
i cant see why this happens because my desktop meets all of the requirements for the software.

the computer i have is:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core 5000+ 2.6 ghz
3gb ram
nvida geforce 9500 gt 1gb
samsung 19in screen
edirol audio box
250gb sata drive (187gb free)
250gb external drive (152gb free)
directx 9
windows xp

i have tried it on my laptop which has vista on it. its only 2ghz with 1 gb of memory. it doesnt work on there either.

i was thinking of getting MEP 16 but i dont want to pay out the money only to find that that doesnt edit hd on my computer either.

any help would be great as i really like MEP.
