Movie Edit Pro 14 Plus - DVD for the TV

Hello -

I'm creating a DVD with pictures from my vacation but when I burn it to a DVD and play it on my TV the pictures look squatty (meaning they look squashed).

When I burn to a DVD is there certain edit properies I need to use if the DVD will be played on a TV?

The tv/dvd player may cause this problem due to its age
and if not then you will have to change the picture size in
the editing prosses do do this
click on picture in timeline>>and go to effects>>click on movement effects>>Click on size/position>>then click edit, below set original size
If this doesn't help tell me there is one other way
