when you use the Chroma Key effect, the opacity line stays frozen! A systematic user, knows that the situation focuses on on the Chroma Key! But for many it can be confusing. If you use Chroma key, you could hide the opacity line or even paint it another color!
Where can I see how much in % is the opacity ? (I find this information extremely useful)
I agree, it would be helpful to have a percentage, much like the object volume line.

I disagree. They are two features that must remain usable. The line with handle on the object raises and lowers the object opacity, equally, no keyframing. The Video Level under Chromakey allows a separate opacity adjustment with keyframing. Although it may be considered as a bit of redundancy, if you want some opacity for the entire clip, but less at certain locations, you adjust the handle on the object for the overall opacity, then you keyframe the video level for just the parts to be modified.
Note that the Chromakey video level maximum is the level that is set by the overall object opacity.
This is analogous to the audio levels. The line with handle on the object raises and lowers the overall level, the volume level under Audio Effects/General, allows further adjustments with keyframing and goes along with the object volume curve. So, one can use the detailed volume level and keyframe large transients to reduce their volume, and then make an overall adjustment to the object level to bring it up a bit.

I saw only now that opacity (of the object line) is unlinked from the opacity effect generated in the Chromakey video level! Anyway I made a claim to the support to evaluate if it is possible to improve the % information of the line opacity of the object (not only to show the % but also to type a value as it exists in the Chromakey edition)
Typing a value for both the object opacity level and audio object volume level would be very welcome.
I would expect the problem of having just the % for the opacity level would be the same as what happens currently with the audio object volume, getting a precise value is very difficult. Thus typing in a value would be most helpful.
I presume that you have noted how I turned on the video level curve on the object.
