MMEstudio 2023 / save project / render

Roberto-Goncalves wrote on 1/3/2024, 12:27 PM

Hi,

Every time I finish a project I save it before rendering. However, after rendering (without changing anything), it indicates an asterisk * in its title, which leads me to understand that there was an update that I understand I did not carry out. Is there some wrong logic here for this to happen? If so, what kind of changes did he make?

Thanks!

@Roberto-Goncalves Hi, it's the same here. As far as i know that * appears whenever there has been a change to the saved project as you are indicating, It seems to me that MMS sees the export as a change or prob/poss just an entry in a log somewhere saying something happened to that project. 🤷‍♂️

Hi Gid

. . . . MMS sees the export as a change or prob/poss just an entry in a log somewhere saying something happened to that project . . . .

You are correct, when the project is exported the export preset, and parameters used, are added to the open project file, however the project file is not saved until you either, manually do this, start a new project, or shutdown MMS when you will be asked if you want to save the project.

Hi,

I opened a ticket to find out the logic behind having to save parameters that have not been changed! At some point during a day full of projects/work, it may even leave the user insecure involving unnecessary operations!

Thanks!

Hi,

first response from suport: " We were able to see what it was all about. We don't have an explanation, as there are no changes to the film when exporting. We will forward the problem to the developers for further information. "
