midi problems on mm16

Well were do we start i import a old midi file and i change the instrument and no sound plays ok on the Microsoft wave table but under mm16 nothing you can see the midi score and if you hit the same not it plays and there is sound some of the older vst plugins work but i would like to use the ones on mm16

By Old Midi file by that do you mean File saved in older version of Magix Music Maker?

Sorry no this was a midi file i used another program to make eg cuebase and ir is saved as a midi file played ak in MM6 and other Magix software sorry for the confusion
