Memory and saving issues

I recently purchased the video sound cleaning lab 22.2.0.53 (DP3) in a combo pack with Vegas Movie Studio 15 Platinum. I am using Windows 10, on an HP Pavilion desktop. I am only trying to edit audio, for a podcast, it's been very frustrating to say the least. I can work for about 10 minutes at at a time, when I get stopped by a message stating I don't have enough memory for playback. I have also noticed that even though I save my work rather frequently, most of my work is not saved. Also, as I am editing, trying to remove hums from a room to clean up the sound has proved to be not possible. The manual states to get a sound sample, click "get", there is no "get" to click! Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

In addition to what John EB wrote, I have to ask why you bought a package of apps whose primary role is in video editing and processing when

I am only trying to edit audio, for a podcast

Also, are you aware that VSCL is actually now an "old" app, having not been updated for some time and has now been superceded by the new Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab?
