Making the transition from Premiere Pro CC 2021 to MAGIX Video Pro 15

Stephen-Wickham wrote on 3/1/2024, 11:51 AM

Cannot get audio playback from files that were fine in Premiere Pro. Have converted WKV to MP4, AV1, MPEG, etc. Used both Wondershare Uniconverter and HandBrake video converters. Would also like to know if there are videos showing: "Did this in Premiere Pro, do this in MAGIX Video Pro X." Have found many links on internet showing step-by-step in Premiere Pro.

@Stephen-Wickham

Hi and welcome to the forum.

In reverse order:

. . . . Did this in Premiere Pro, do this in MAGIX Video Pro X. . . . .

In the Tutorials section of the forum, there are no 'conversion' tutorials.

For acclimatisation see the tutorial list here, the tutorials cover almost everything you should need to know.

If you have a specific request not covered in the tutorials, use the forum Search feature first - a lot of 'how to's' have been asked and methods given.

If you cannot find any topic related to what you are wanting to do create a new topic and give a description and an example if possible of what you want to do.

Video audio issue:

Download and install MediaInfo and analyse the MKV video file, you are converting from, and post the results, see this tutorial on how to set up MediaInfo and analyse a video clip for all the data required.

It would also help if you put the specification of your computer in your Profile Signature.

See this topic for what is required, and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) you are working with if this is a laptop.
