Do you have the cassette player connected to your computer now?  If not, what kind of cassette player is it and what kind of outputs does it have?

Do you only have a sound card on your computer, or do you have an audio interface?

Are you using a MAGIX program and if so which one (type and version)???

Hi. I am using the DJ-Tech player recorder (K7 Encoder 5) and comes with Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 2008 SE Version 9.02 software.
It plugs straight into my pc via a usb. Hope this helps.

You still haven't told us, but I'm going to assume you are already able to transfer the audio from your tapes to Audio Cleaning Lab (ACL).

I haven't done this myself, but it's my understanding that you are able to create markers in your ACL project to separate the different songs on a single, continuous track.
