Can you maybe further clarify what exactly you're trying to achieve? Are you possibly referring to some kind of picture-in-picture/split-screen effect? You could set this up by using the image size & position function on the video track(s) in question. If you can confirm what you want to accomplish, maybe I can work you through the procedure.
