MagixPro15 doesn't see Sony DCR SX41 handycam for importing

I can't import a video from my handycam into MagixPro15. It says it isn't connected to the camcorder. However, if I use Sony's software it recognizes the video. I just can't get it into MagixPro to begin working on it.

I have a Sony DCR-SX43 and I use their PMB software to import the file. I would imagine my software imports it the same as yours does. After import you should be able to just drag and drop the video file into the Movie Edit timeline.

Although I'm not sure if you can drag and drop the file while navigating the folders via PMB as I've never tried to do that... but you should be able to drag and drop the file from its regular folder it's stored in.
