Magix Video Pro X14 why does it say Source: Empty when there are files and content in the build See [A] Source Empty [B] Controls in active [C] Content exists
I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no effect OS = Windows 10 Help please
From the image posted it looks like you have the Program monitor turned off unless this is on a second monitor.
The Source monitor displays what is played from the Media Pool and comparison before/after when using some effects, the Program Monitor displays what is on the timeline.
What John means is you have somehow changed the basic view of the program and the main monitor you need (There should be two monitors) has been moved. Possibly it is buried under another panel in the program.
Using the Window Tab on the top selection bar of the program select the following to get that monitor back in place.
That setting will give you both monitors back but the layout will not be exactly the same as mine as I am using a custom layout.
Just to add to this, if you're not already familiar with the options of the Source Monitor, click on the Source Monitor hamburger menu and take a close look. It took me years to notice and start using the options for the Comparison Image.
I have just had this problem, between shutting down last night and turning on again this morning the Source Window had moved its self over the top of the main preview. All good now, thanks.
If there are problems with the window arrangement within MMS or Magix ProX, this can be solved very quickly by pressing the function key "F9". This will reset all window arrangements.
