Hi,

Check cable normally this composite or RCA cable round end, check your set up in USA is code 1 = NTSC format. If your cable is RCA , VHS format , NTSC region. This must capture. Or your player is a SVHS this is rare because is pro level, the cable change and input is SVHS or Hi8 for Sony.

Regards,

Hi

. . . . . i have download your drivers 2828, . . . .

Where did you get these drivers from?

If you were offered the option to install a 32 bit or 64 bit driver - which did you install?

What colour is the Magix USB video converter?

Is the USB capture device recognised by Windows? Look in Device manager to see if it is there and does not have a yellow warning mark against it.

It would also help us if you give more detail on the following:

  1. full software name and version you are using to capture the video - see under Help, About for this information?

  2. how and in what order you are connecting the device?

  3. what options you are selecting in the software to start capturing?

Have you loaded the magix usb from the software - I made this mistake when I first started and didn't realise it hadn't loaded automatically. Good luck!

@ann-walker

This thread was started more than one year ago. Presumably the OP has now sorted the problem.
