Magix Photostory - working in updated versions

etchisos wrote on 2/27/2021, 4:07 PM

I have created video projects in Magix Photostory in older versions (2015 & 2017) and still have those MPH files and the folders with all the photos. I now have a new computer and want to download the latest version of Photostory. Will I be able to pull up my old projects with the newer software?

@etchisos

Hi

The projects will open in the new version.

I would advise that you keep your current version installed until you have opened existing projects in the new version to check all is well.

On the new computer ensure that the projects and source files etc are in the same folder locations and names as the old version.

If the source files have moved then you will have problems but hey can be overcome, I had problems after my PC died but I was able to point Photostory to where they were and I managed to get all my projects working again.
