Hi, I have Magix Photostory 2015 Deluxe and also Magix Photostory CD and DVD 10 Deluxe. I need space on my computer and need to delete one, can anyone tell me which one is the best one to keep? I stupidly dont remember which one is the most recent
Photostory on CD and DVD is the older version released in 2011, you can confirm this by looking at the version number (first 2 digits) under Help, About in both programs.
Clearly I'm not John (!) but, at 68, nearly 69, I just about beat you on age!
To uninstall any program go to Settings (assuming you are using Windows 10, simply right-click on the Start button and choose "Settings") then choose "Apps", then "Apps and features". Find, on the list that opens (it may take some time to fully populate) the app that you want to remove, left-click on it and you will see an option to "Modify" or "Uninstall". Choose the uninstall option.
There is software like Revo Uninstaller which will ensure that everything connected with the program is completely uninstalled (the built-in Windows uninstaller does NOT do this) but using Revo may be overkill for what you want to do.

That's me, and I appear to be the youngster at 65. 😃
I would be very careful using Revo to uninstall one of two versions of the same program, the scan can pick up common files that are required by the program being left on the computer.
Well thank you both Jeff and John! Magix Photostory must be THE programme for the young ‘elderly’ then! I hadn’t used it for ages then when I went back to it to create a movie for my son’s wedding, I couldn’t remember the latest version. I put that down to old age. I shall now go and uninstall the programme with Your help. Jackie. Another question, when you have created your movie, do you burn to disc or save to the computer via the ‘Export tab? People don’t seem to have DVD players anymore

Personally I would do both - then you can give them a disc to play and put the exported video - MP4 format - on to a thumb drive or some other suitable media or upload it to a file sharing site so they can download it.
