Magix-Online Web Hosting Servers Down

NavChun wrote on 12/17/2020, 4:56 AM

I have been having frequent problems (FTP) uploading my website (created in Xara Web Designer Pro) to the servers of Magix Online Web Hosting.

The failure to upload on 2020-12-12 was blamed on "maintenance".

From (at least) 2020-12-16 @ 21:00 GMT to 2020-12-17 @ 10:45 GMT I AGAIN could not upload. I received the following error message:

"FTP error: Transferred a partial file"

There's been no response (yet) to my query with Support.

My FTP upload to other servers and web hosting companies worked fine. The problem is only when uploading to the Magix servers.

Am I the only one experiencing this or are others having the same problems? I am not based in Germany or the USA.

How easily and quickly does Magix process requests to release and transfer domains to other web hosting companies?

Since the November software update publishing has been slow to connect to the server and often times out. Today after a further software update I am unable to publish any of my websites. Times out without any message.
