Well, that version might not support DivX or XivD. It is possible since that software is older... I am not sure if it has access to the codecs for those .avi types.

I do not have a version 11, just 14 - 17... I doubt that would hep you though.

Hi,

After reading your question I checked my computer with Xp serivce pack3 got Magix Music Maker 11 Deluxe version.

For trial I converted one of my animation in Xvid format then imported and played it in the MMM 11 Deluxe without any problem.

Here is a full window screen shot. You can see red marked area showing xvid video other than audio files.

I have also checked xvid website and I think you should download xvid pack for windows or read information on xvid website that will help you a lot.

Thank you

Hi,

You can still try two things.

1. If you got Xvid.avi format video clip play in any video player on computer. If that play means you got problem in Magix software.

Or if video does not play then first you have to solve that problem.

2. You got option to re-install your Magix software. Before doing that do not forget to backup your important Projects, Presets etc.

I will also suggest, clean Browser history, cookies, trash bin too. some times cookies create problem.

Thank you
