Magix 12 on Recording Multi track Audio - Issue

I realized when recording to another track I needed to mute the previous track from preventing it's sound to be recorded on the new track. However, i would prefer to hear the previous track so I can play or sing insynch with it. But I wanted my voice or my instrument be the only one recorded on the next track. Is there a way to do this in Magix Studio 12?

Hi,

The solving depends on the selection of the recording input of your sound card. I suppose that the selected input is : "What you listen" instead of "microphone". You have to go in the control panel of your sound card, in the input or recording section and select "microphone".
