PLEASE can someone address the problem some of us are having whereby MAGIX AUDIO CLEANER PRO on MAC OSX 10.9.5 does not recognise the Superdrive in order to create a CD.......
There have been issues with Superdrives and MACs where the drive has not been recognised correctly b the OS - check the MAC forums as this is a hardware / OS specific issue
The system recognises the drive perfectly, and I have used it to read and write many discs without the slightest problem......but it will not burn a disc from Magix. Magix does not recognise that a disc is present. I have tried several brands of discs, to be sure that the problem did not lie there.
The Mac + Superdrive issues on the Mac page do not correspond with my plight. As far as I can see they describe situations where the drive does not function properly in a global way. My problem is exclusively related to Magix.
Therefore I would appreciate your help looking into this, as I know it has affected other Magix users.
In fact I have even tried using a generic external drive, and this is also recognised by the system but fails to be seen by Magix.
I have had Magix Audio software for many years on various PCs, and have been a loyal user and buyer. Right now that love affair is threatened!
