I'm sorry that this will sound a bit cheeky but it's because it is AP10. A bug ridden, unstable DAW. There's nothing wrong with your computer or interface, it's AP10/11. Best of of luck to you.

@Marcus_Svensor

Hi

. . . . an error message is displayed, saying that you mush be using a minimum of Windows 7 / Windows 8 . My Windows is Windows 10 21H2 . . . .

This may be related to an issue that has been known to occur with Windows - check that the OS is in a consistent state - see this tutorial and follow steps 3 -11.

If that does not fix the issue, raise a support ticket with Magix, see this support article on how to navigate the support system.

I regularly check windows for consistency.  Wrote a little script to run this and other checking procedures.  I sent a message to MAGIX who replied quickly with this solution.  This worked very well.  Run the installer from this link instead https://ssl-update.magix.com/patch/acid-pro-10-0-6-1655213339 .  I imagine the original update may not have worked be my User Shell is non-standard and cortana is disabled.

ACID Pro 11, is working perfectly and its updating process works properly.  It seems to have resolved many of issues had in 10

We use many DAWs, all have bugs and stability issues. Generally, for us, ACID tends to be more stable than others. One DAW is better for this, one is better for that. Sometimes we use a combination. This year alone we have released several works to market, produced soley on ACID 10. It did its job, very well and produced finished tracks. ACID Pro 11 is working even better, many of the issues in ACID 10 are resolved in this version.

My golden rule. Save as, with every major change / addition, use a version number and the edit date in the file name.
