@Curtis-Harmon Is Music Maker ASIO selected as the audio driver in the program settings?

Curtis-Harmon wrote on 2/23/2023, 6:53 PM

Dude...DUDE! Thanks

Curtis-Harmon wrote on 2/24/2023, 4:58 PM

OK...Now I can play my keyboard but only with the Grand Piano. The others only play through my mouse. Also, before I upgraded to Premium, I had a slew of VST's to choose from. Where are all my instruments?

SP. wrote on 2/24/2023, 5:57 PM

@Curtis-Harmon Which others instruments have you tested? Is "MIDI Rec" enabled in the track header?

You might need to open the program settings and click on the button to clean up the store cache. You can also try to rescan the VST paths in the program settings.

Hi Guys

Music Maker 64 bit, Premium.

I'm recording audio and the system always send me back to the beginning instead of where I left off. I moved the yellow line over but the system is acting funny. What am i doing wrong?

Curtis-Harmon wrote on 3/24/2023, 4:21 PM

FIXED IT!

Hi Guys

MMM 64 bit, Premium. M-audio 88 keystation

Latency, Latency, LATENCY! Why can't I change my latency? Everything I do, changes nothing. Always the same. Help! Please...

SP. wrote on 4/13/2023, 1:45 AM

@Curtis-Harmon Where do you change the latency? In the ASIO driver settings which can be opened by clicking on the Advanced button?

Even larger latency settings like 2048 samples should be barely noticeable because that's less than 50 ms.

@Curtis-Harmon

Hi,

Does the M-Audio 88 keystation not come with an M-Audio ASIO driver? Check with M-Audio. You should be using that to limit latency.

I have an M-Audio M-Track audio interface that comes with an M-Audio ASIO driver.

@Curtis-Harmon

Hi,

Please post a screen shot of the entire interface.

Also, show a screen shot of the Program Settings showing the Audio/MIDI tab.

Hi Guys

Thinking about buying this super package from WavGrinder. Over 3000 loops. But I don't see a way to download it into Magic Music Maker. Am I missing something? Can it be done?

SP. wrote on 5/2/2023, 2:49 AM

@Curtis-Harmon You can drag and drop audio and MIDI loops directly from Windows Explorer into your project. Or you can do the same with the internal file browser in Music Maker. The Loops manager inside Music Maker only works with Magix Soundpool loops and not with loops from different publishers. Soundpool loops need to have a special folder and naming structure. Technically you can convert any loop pack into a Soundpool compatible format, but that might be a lot of manual work.

For one-shot samples (like drum samples) or third party loops, it is recommended to use a sampler VST. For example:

Thanks SP, I owe you,

Took a while but I got it to work. Man, this program is awesome. Butttt...lately I've been getting a short buzz when I play back songs. Every six seconds or so I'll get a short buzz sound. Any advice?

SP. wrote on 5/15/2023, 2:09 AM

@Curtis-Harmon Does it buzz with even 2048 samples buffer size? Are you using a plugin in demo mode? Often VST plugin demo versions will add noise to the sound.
