Just bought Rock edition 4. When choosing a guitar and utilizing the bars 1-7 above to change pitch, are these bars actually changing the chords within a chord progression in a key ?

When using the pitch change option bars 1- 7 when choosing a guitar for example are the pitch changes the same as the changes in a major chord progression- major, minor, minor, major, major, dim, major. ?  Is there a way to change the key a song is created in ?

When you click on the bars to change the pitch, all the chords in the song are raised a half step. The chord progression will sound the same meaning that all major chords will still be major and minor will stay minor, it will just be higher. To change the key, you have to raise or lower all the tracks' pitches. To do this, hold Ctrl and press A to select all tracks. Right click and choose Tempo+Pitch>One Pitch Higher or One Pitch Lower.
