just bought magix ringtone maker 3 and it won't run on my windows 7 it says i need 1024x768 res.

The screen resolution of 1024*768 is a minimum, so this should not be causing the problem.

More likely this is a compatibility issue with Windows 7 as the software is for Windows 2000/XP and appears not to have been released for Windows 7 - the software does not appear to available in the EU.
