it is recording the click??

i dont understand how i am recording the click? I mute all the tracks and use the click to stay on beat, but when i look at the visual of the recording it shows the click and you can plainly hear it even afer you turn it off during play back... what am i doing wrong... thanks

Hi,

Depending on your sound card, check with the driver what you are recording. Perhaps in your case "What you hear" which is the mix of all the sound including Windows' sounds.
