I've been using magix's video deluxe 2014 software for a while now but recently I've gotten an issue and I have no idea how to fix it or how it even happened. I just launched one of the projects I was working on and the video preview has a framerate of roughly 3 fps. Not only that but even with the very slow playback I can tell that the audio got delayed as well. If I render my video then everything is still normal but it's pretty clear that I can't edit my video's under these circumstances. This issue also appears on any other project I open so I can't even restart my video from scratch. Restarting my laptop didn't help either.

I haven't recently installed any new software or have I edited any related files since the last time video deluxe 2014 acted normal (which was only a couple of days ago). I'm running version 13.0.2.8 and the following are the specs of my laptop.

• Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ (4 cores)
• Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M
• RAM: 1 x 8 GB
• Chipset: Intel HM170
