to get either mufin or freedb to update info on all my tracks automatically? Like a total batch file update rather than having to click on each individual file and update info separately?

I presume you are now connecting to the mufin and freedb databases?

Can you select all the tracks by selecting the first track then, while holding the Shift key down, selecting the last in the series?
