Hi,

I wish you should have mentioned your Magix Music Maker version, but ok.

In Magix Music Maker we can import audio from Hard Disk, External Drive, Flash drive, CD/DVD. I do not think direct from Itunes we can import.

But you said you tried from CD and it Freezes, why not first copy CD on Hard Drive of computer that will be easier to import from Magix Music Maker/File Manager/Browse your folder and then drag and drop on arranger.

Please read:

Only non copy-protected audio CDs can be imported.

Formats:

Import: WAV, AIFF, MP3, OGG Vorbis, WMA, QuickTimeTM, MIDI, CD-A1, BMP, JPG, AVI, MXV, WMV
Export: WAV, AIFF, MP3, OGG Vorbis, WMA, QuickTimeTM, MIDI, CD-A, BMP, JPG, AVI, MXV, WMV,
RealMediaTM Helix, MP3 Surround

Point of advice, do not use, email, messenger, internet or any other software when you use Music Maker.

Check your Hard Drive capacity is it enough?

Thank you

Unfortunately iTunes uses a MP4 format which is NOT usable by other softwares that can EDIT a file. Music Maker can EDIT, therefore it is NOT allowed to import the file.

The way around this for me; I burn the file to disc from iTunes as a standard audio CD, this I can then import from the CD into Music Maker or any other software.

Long way around, but that is what you have to do with proprietary software formats such as that which iTunes uses.
