When I put the disc in the drive it does nothing. There is an icon called "start" when I open the disc manually but it does nothing if I double click it.  What am I supposed to do now? I know very littile about the working of computers, just put the disc in and let it take off. So be detailed.

It is not clear if you had installed the MMM 16 on your computer and once again you want to re-install. Or it is first time if you want to install MMM 16?

It is really strange if CD is not working even manually. What you did is a normal process and it should work. I got MMM 16 on Windows Xp computer and it work well. I also got MMM 16 Premium on Windows Vista computer that work too by using DVD.

In your case do you know if it is computer problem of Magix Music Maker CD problem? if you got any other software CD and that is already installed on your computer. Just for test insert the CD in to the CD/DVD Rom drive if it started installation just do not install and Eject it. This test will tell you there isn't any problem in your computer.

After confirming above delete Browser History and cookies. Restart computer, do not use any email, messenger or other software.  Try to install MMM 16 see if it work or not.

If you still face problem, in that case contact Magix support (by choosing your country). You will have to sign in with same ID as you use here.

First of all we need to know if you have a DVD drive.  The disc for MM-16 is a DVD-ROM and will only play in a DVD drive.  It will not play in a CD drive.

Most older XP computers did not come with a DVD drive, only a CD drive.
