In MEP14 while in edit mode during play back I hear audio clicks

If I use Sony Vegas to capture with and open the files in magix is when I notice the clicks otherwise, magix imports just fine but the reason why I use Vegas is to create seperate files for each take. magix doesn't do this and no I haven't heard anything from support in regards to this.

What format are be talking about? DV AVI by any chance?

Just try the following: Download the free utility DVdate and use it to convert the files you've captured in Vegas from DV AVI type I to DV AVI type II.

Alternatively, I guess you could check whether you can configure Vegas to output DV AVI type II in the first place. The files from the DVdate conversion will probably work perfectly fine with Movie Edit Pro, though.
