Importing Music

I have spent months creating two separate slideshows. Now, I am trying to finish these projects by importing music from my iTunes library. My iTunes library of music is in the form of a m4a.  The Magix program apparently is unable to read these types of files.  Can anyone please provide advice as to how to convert these files so that the Magix program can read them? Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.

@Mark-Schultz

. . . . how to convert these files so that the Magix program can read them . . . .

It is a long time since I used iTunes, however, IIRC the iTunes software can export to mp3 or a supported audio format?

However if the m4a are DRM'd then this may not be possible unless you can download none DRM versions.

Hi I have only recently bought the Photostory Deluxe 2019 software and working my way through the process of creating a slide show. My current sticking point is using key animations for creating a tracking shot at the moment, finding it very frustrating - prior to that I could not import music from ITunes, so from my ITunes account tried making a playlist and burning it to a CD in MP3 format. I then loaded the CD and found the Magix program would import the music tracks from that. Hope this helps.
