Importing audio cassette music to PC

Dear Sirs,

I am using the correct RCA cables (red/white) connected directly to the cassette deck Line Out sockets and then to my Line-In (green) socket on my PC as per the tutorial. I have re-set my Sound Card to be the Line-in input in the Sound settings in Windows 10. I have downloaded the trial software from your website and registered my account again. The version is 20.0.1.22 (DC2).

I am already familiar with the older 2006 version of Audio Magix Cleaning Lab which I purchased before, so I understand the settings from before when I was able to make successsful recordings from Vinyl or Cassette sources. I now find that although the cassette is playing t6o the Line Out, the Audio Cleaning Lab is not detecting the output directly from the cassette deck for some reason? I have tried different connections to my Amplifier tape Line Out but it makes no difference? Please are you able to advise further for me? Many Thanks again. Steve

Hi

In the Windows 10 settings is the Privacy & security, Microphone, Let desktop apps access your microphone turned on - if not turn it on and then check if the Audio Line in option appears in the ACL recording settings input option.

Hello,

I can confirm that the Desktop Apps is enabled to access the microphone, but it states that some Apps such as AOL do not require this - in an information box shown beneath this in the Privacy/Security settings?

The Line-in option is showing in AOL for my sound card, so still can't understand what issue is preventing the music transferring to the AOL from my cassette deck?

Thanks.

Is AOL a typo ie do you mean ACL - Audio Cleaning Lab ?
